Patios & rooftops

Here’s a mismatch worth naming: this city gets roughly 287 sunny days a year and has built almost nothing to eat outside on. There is exactly one true rooftop — Durango, on top of the Sanctity Hotel, with the San Gabriels filling the north view — and it single-handedly carries the category. Klatch’s patio in the historic Thomas Winery plaza is the daytime pick.

This page is short because our verification is honest, not because the town lacks tables outdoors — Victoria Gardens’ open-air streets seat plenty of restaurants with sidewalk frontage. As we verify which patios are actually worth requesting, they’ll appear here. Know one we’re missing? Make the case.
