Ontario International Airport (ONT) sits roughly 12–18 minutes from most of Rancho Cucamonga. It’s an easy, mid-size airport with none of LAX’s pain — if your route offers it, take it, even at a modest fare premium. You’ll win the difference back in time and sanity.

No car? Omnitrans Route 380 “ONT Connect” runs nonstop between the airport and the Rancho Cucamonga Metrolink station, timed to meet every train, every 35–60 minutes.

The Rancho Cucamonga Metrolink station (11208 Azusa Court) sits on the San Bernardino Line: 34 weekday trains and 16 on weekends, direct to LA Union Station. It’s the second-busiest station in the entire Metrolink system, with about 330 parking spaces.

The same site is being rebuilt as Cucamonga Station — the future Inland Empire stop for Brightline West, the high-speed line to Las Vegas. It is under construction, not open; no opening date is promised here, because none is certain.

The city hangs off two freeways: the 210 across the top, the 10 across the bottom, with Haven, Archibald, and Milliken carrying the north–south load. From downtown LA it’s about 37 miles east; with traffic, budget anywhere from 50 minutes to well past 90. Foothill Boulevard — Route 66 — is the scenic surface alternative and worth driving at least once on purpose.
