Shopping in Rancho Cucamonga

Two heavyweights anchor the map. Victoria Gardens is the open-air one — the de facto downtown, with the full national-brand roster plus California’s first Bass Pro Shops. Ontario Mills, ten minutes south, is the state’s largest outlet center: two hundred stores, deals that justify the crowds, and air conditioning that justifies August.

The independents take more finding, and they’re the reason this page exists. Dr. Strange Records in Alta Loma is a functioning punk label with a shop attached — people drive in from LA for the bins. The farmers markets rotate through the week. And the plazas along Foothill hide more good specialty shops than their parking lots suggest.
