Coffee in Rancho Cucamonga

Start with the headline: the best roaster in the city is also one of the best in the country. Klatch is headquartered here, has won at the World Barista Championship level, and pours its flagship cups in the historic Thomas Winery plaza. Most cities this size import their good coffee; Rancho Cucamonga exports it.

The rest of the scene rewards curiosity. Qamaria brings Yemeni coffee tradition — and blessedly late hours — to a city that closes early. Calle Ocho pulls Cuban cafecito. Statera hides inside a gym, Steve’s hides in an office suite upstairs, and finding either is half the fun. The chains are here too; you don’t need our help finding them.
