Privacy policy

Foothill & Vine (“we”) publishes a city guide at foothillandvine.com. This policy describes what we collect and why, in plain language.

What we collect

Forms.When you submit a business, an event, a correction, or a newsletter signup, we receive what you typed — typically a name, an email address, and the content of your submission. We use it to review and respond, and for the newsletter, to send you the newsletter after you confirm (double opt-in). We don’t sell the list.

Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic — pages visited, referrers, approximate geography. GA4 uses cookies or similar identifiers; we configure it without advertising features unless and until advertising requires otherwise, and any change lands in this policy first.

Spam protection.Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical signals to distinguish humans from bots under Cloudflare’s privacy terms.

Advertising

Pages may carry display advertising and clearly labeled sponsored placements. Ad networks may use cookies or device identifiers to measure or personalize ads; where required we present a consent mechanism, and California residents can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information below at any time.

Your California privacy rights

Under the CCPA/CPRA you may request access to, or deletion of, personal information we hold (for most visitors: form submissions and newsletter addresses). Email hello@foothillandvine.com and we’ll respond within the statutory window. You can also register a Do Not Sell or Share preference:

Retention & contact

Form submissions are retained as long as needed to maintain the guide (corrections become part of the verification record). Newsletter unsubscribes are honored immediately. Questions: hello@foothillandvine.com. Material changes to this policy will be dated at the top of this page.
