Old Town / Route 66

This is the stretch of Foothill Boulevard where Cucamonga — the town, before the merger — actually happened, and where Route 66 still shows its hand. Between Vineyard and Haven you pass the 1915 service station, the Thomas Winery site with vines-planted-1839 credentials, and storefronts that served the road when the road was everything.

It reads as working boulevard, not museum: taquerias and pupuserías share blocks with historic markers, Klatch pours championship espresso on the old winery grounds, and the Route 66 dives still pour cold ones. The 2026 centennial puts this corridor at the center of the city's year — do the drive at golden hour and the old alignment makes sense of the whole town.
