Coffeecito

Coffeecito — the Spanish diminutive, 'little coffee' — is an independent café in Alta Loma, and the location is the point. The neighborhoods north of Foothill are where Rancho Cucamonga keeps its foothill views, its horse properties, and its longest drives to a decent espresso. Alta Loma barely has a café scene.

A small independent up the hill matters more than the same shop would on Foothill's café corridor, where Klatch and a dozen others already slug it out. Coverage down there is solved. Up here it isn't, and that's why a little coffee shop in Alta Loma gets a full page from us.
