Coffeecito

Alta Loma's entry in the small-café wave — the name means 'little coffee,' and locals keep saying it.

Unverified — call ahead

Coffeecito — the Spanish-inflected diminutive, 'little coffee' — turned up repeatedly when we researched Alta Loma, and that's notable because Alta Loma barely has a café scene to research. The neighborhoods north of Foothill are where Rancho Cucamonga keeps its foothill views, its horse properties, and its longest drives to a decent espresso.

A small independent up the hill would matter more than the same shop would on Foothill's café corridor, where Klatch and a dozen others already slug it out. Coverage down there is solved; coverage up here isn't.

We hold every listing to the same standard, so Coffeecito sits at unverified until we've confirmed an address and hours in person. The name and the neighborhood came out of our July 2026 research; the rest is pending. If you're in Alta Loma, search the name — and if you beat us there, we're taking notes.
