Fox Theater Pomona

Pomona's historic theater turned concert hall — the Arts Colony's big-marquee music venue.

Live music

A few blocks from The Glass House, the Fox Theater Pomona is the big-marquee version of the same argument: when the Inland Empire wants a real night of live music, it goes to downtown Pomona. The Fox is a historic theater turned concert venue on Garey Ave, and its sign is about as recognizable as the Arts Colony gets.

Where The Glass House handles the indie circuit, the Fox takes the larger tours — names that need a proper hall but not an arena. Between the two rooms, Pomona covers a range of live music that Rancho Cucamonga simply doesn't attempt, and this guide won't pretend otherwise.

Make the night of it. The Arts Colony's bars and restaurants sit within walking distance, which is more than can be said for most venues out this way. Check the Fox's calendar alongside The Glass House's before deciding the region has no music options.
