Most of Rancho Cucamonga's food conversation happens along the Foothill corridor, which makes a Mexican restaurant up in Alta Loma worth flagging on its own. The northern neighborhoods, up against the San Gabriel foothills, are quieter, more residential, and mostly left out of the dining chatter. El Perico Ranchero — "the ranch parrot," if you're translating — is on 19th Street, squarely in that tier.

The address is the point. Alta Loma is where the city stops being a corridor and turns back into neighborhoods, so this is a place for the people who live up there rather than the traffic passing through on Foothill. Hours aren't listed here, so check before you make a special trip.
