The Hat sells pastrami sandwiches over a counter. American sandwich food, ordered and paid for at the register instead of at a table, which keeps the turnaround quick.

It's a chain, 12 locations in all: 11 across Los Angeles, Riverside, Orange, Ventura and San Bernardino counties, plus one in Las Vegas.

This one sits on Monet Avenue inside the Victoria Gardens center, and it's a late-night option once the rest of the center has emptied out.
