Sunright Tea Studio grew out of the SoCal boba boom with a reputation built on doing the fundamentals in-house — fresh-brewed teas and the brown-sugar 'dirty' drinks that became its calling card. Now it's in Terra Vista Town Center, which sets up the best head-to-head in local boba: Boba Fiend, the entrenched local favorite, pours a short walk away on the same stretch of Foothill.

That proximity is the story. Rancho Cucamonga does not lack boba — every plaza has a shop and every household has an allegiance — so a chain arriving here is walking into the Inland Empire's most opinionated drink category on its hardest block.

Our advice: make it a taste test. Order the signature dirty boba at Sunright, walk the plaza, order your usual at Boba Fiend, and settle the argument for yourself. The center makes the two-stop run painless.
