Biane Winery

The Biane name is as old as Cucamonga Valley wine itself — the family has been making wine here across seven generations, through the era when this valley out-produced Napa and Sonoma combined.

The tasting room on 8th Street puts that lineage back within reach: Cucamonga Valley wines poured alongside Central Coast and Napa fruit, Thursday through Sunday afternoons. For a city whose wine story is mostly told in past tense, a working Biane tasting room is not a small thing.

It sits in the industrial south of the city rather than among vines — which is itself accurate to what the valley has become, and the pours are the argument for what it was.
